Services
Innovative Behavior Technologies provides medically necessary Applied Behavior Analysis services to people with autism and developmental disabilities on the Central Coast. We serve San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. Innovative Behavior Technologies partners with UCP San Luis Obispo to provide two programs that serve teens and young adults: SLO Excursions, a weekly community-based social program and Pre-Employment Training, a workshop each summer that teaches prerequisite skills for obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.

Applied Behavior Analysis
Innovative Behavior Technologies provides creative and compassionate in-home and telehealth clinical Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Our services are tailored to each individual's unique needs. We also provide Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA only) consultation for individuals, families, and institutions. Innovative Behavior Technologies specializes in ABA treatment for teens and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and those diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorders.

SLO Excursions
SLO Excursions is an affiliate program of UCP-SLO that provides community-based social opportunities in San Luis Obispo County for teens and young adults. Under the supervision of Brooke Foster, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and her clinical Applied Behavior Analysis team, participants are supported with emotional regulation, communication, and socially helping those with anxiety, autism, or other disorders. Our weekly outings or Zoom meetings provide the opportunity for teens and young adults to receive hands-on behavioral support while enjoying everyday activities.
Accommodations and activity adaptations are made to include individuals of all functioning levels. Please call or email to discuss your child’s needs and schedule a complimentary accommodations appointment with the BCBA to best serve the needs of your teen/young adult and family.

Pre-Employment Training
The Pre-Employment Training (PET) program occurs each summer in collaboration with UCP-SLO. PET teaches teens and young adults skills to prepare them for the workforce. We teach motivation and perseverance for work, emotional regulation skills, communication, hygiene, time management, and other skills that are prerequisite to being successful obtaining and retaining meaningful employment.
